Mobile Phones are Proving to be More Dangerous than Smoking

Mobile Phones are Proving to be More Dangerous than SmokingThere has been a huge rise of tumors caused by cell phone use and even an award winning Neurosurgeon is warning of the risks.

Cancer-expert and Neurosurgeon Dr. Vini Khurana recently did a study on the harmful effects of cell phone use and he has concluded that cell phones could become the number one killer of people, coming in ahead of smoking and asbestos.

Dr. Khurana is urgently warning governments and the mobile phone industry to take initiative; he says it's highly important for them to take immediate steps to reduce exposure and radiation.

According to this research if a person has be using cell phones for more than 10 years their chances of getting brain cancer are doubled. Studies until now have not come to this conclusion because cell phones are relatively new and until now it was very rare that an individual would have used a cell phone for such a length of time.

Some European countries are taking steps against this problem like France, Germany and England. But this is a problem that is out of control. Dr. Khurana says that a malignant brain tumor is basically a death sentence. The results of his research will soon be published in scientific journals.

As a final note Dr. Khurana says about cell phones, "The incidence of malignant brain tumors and associated death rate will be observed to rise globally within a decade from now, by which time it may be far too late to intervene medically."

A person can quit smoking if they put their mind to it and today almost everyone is aware of the risks of smoking. However, cell phones could end up being the next silent killer, especially with the world being so unaware of the horrible consequences.
